The Clear Creek Players will hold auditions for the second season of "Squire Boone: Carved in Stone" at 6PM Thursday June 12th and Friday June 13th with callbacks on Monday, June 16th at the Waldridge Center, 717 Burks Branch Road. Clear Creek Players is a Community partnership with Clear Creek Park and Shelby Co Community Theatre. The play is written and directed by local playwright, Daniel Nation . The play is dramatic retelling of the Painted Stone Settlement and its founder, Squire Boone. Auditions will consist of a cold group reading of the play and plenty of Movement. Actors are asked to wear comfortable clothing. Production dates are August 7-9, 14-16, and 21-23. There are plenty of opportunities for anyone interested in history, reenactments and theatre. Our plan for this year is to also expand our auditions for Squire Boone; Carved In Stone to Louisville, Frankfort and Lexington this year as well as to set private auditions.
We are especially in need of men, any and all who audition could receive parts.
